ASSOCIATION OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS (AME) INAGURATION FUNCTION-REPORT

The Association of Mechanical Engineers (AME) has been inaugurated on 22nd July, 2019 for the academic year of 2019-20 by chief guest Mr.N.Muthukumar, AGM – Regulations & Homologation, Ashok Leyland, Chennai. The inauguration started with the prayer song. Dr.S.Ravi, Professor and Head, delivered the cordial welcome address. Mr.N.Manigandan, faculty advisor introduced V.Akshay of final year, Mechanical Engineering, President and student office bearers of AME 2019-20. President of AME gave the introduction about the Chief Guest. Mr. N.Muthukumar, chief guest of the day delivered a technical talk on topic “SAFETY REGULATIONS AND EMMISSION STANDARDS”. He described and explained the importance of new safety regulations and BS VI emission norms. He also pointed various challenges and experiences related to this topic and the students were highly benefited by his lecture. After finishing his lecture, students asked many questions and ended with an interactive session. Dr.D.Jayabalakrishnan Assistant Professor delivered the vote of thanks. He thanked the chief guest for gracing the occasion by his solemn presence and to all the students of the mechanical department who were the main ingredient of this function. The Program ends with the national anthem.
