One day National Level Conference on Cutting Edge Technologies in Computing & Bioinformatics was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sriram Engineering College, Veppampattu, Chennai-602024 on 10/03/2017. The Conference Coordinator Mr. G. Muthukumar, Assistant Professor-CSE welcomed all the delegates to the Inaugural Function of the National Conference. The conference chief guest Dr. K. Rama Subramaniam, Director & CEO, Valiant Technologies, India delivered the inaugural address. He insisted the students to concentrate more on latest technologies in computer science & Engineering. He gave a brief lecture about the Network Security. He also advised all the participants to give respect to their parents to come up in life. Proceedings of the National Conference were released by the Chief Guest. The Director Dr. G. Gopala Krishnan gave a presidential address. The conference convener Dr. S. Manikandan, Vice Principal and HOD-CSE stated that in this conference around 80 delegates from various Engineering Colleges from Tamil Nadu have presented their research papers in the areas like Cloud Computing, Bioinformatics, Robotics, Mobile Computing, Data Mining, Network Security and Android Application Development. The Conference Coordinator Mr. D. Hemanand delivered the vote of thanks. Then all the delegates presented their research articles in two parallel sessions.
