Vision
Our vision is to provide a strong foundation in the basic engineering subjects for multidisciplinary branches of engineering. To be recognized as a center of learning in Applied Science and Communication skills in English.
Mission
The mission of the Department of Science and Humanities at Sriram Engineering College is to raise the quality of education and maintain the department as an effective Human Resource Development under ever changing environments. To contribute to the growth of technical education and uphold the highest ethical and professional standards. To serve the society for its intellectual enrichment and advancement. To discharge duties and obligations to the students and staff efficiently.

Department library meets students curriculum requirement which are available in the form of text and reference books and lab manuals.
