Chemical dept -National Level Technical Symposium, Extract-2K18
Department of Chemical engineering, Sriram Engineering College conducted National Level Technical Symposium, Extract-2K18 in Association with IIChE, CRCon 26th September 2018. Prof. P. SeshaTalpa Sai, Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Madras, Chennai was the Chief Guest for the occasion.This event was started with Tamil Thai Vaazhthu. Mr. L. Nagarajan, Head-Department of Chemical Engineering Department, Sriram Engineering College welcomed the gathering. Dr.S. R. Kannan, Principal, Sriram Engineering College felicitated the event with his motivation speech. The Chief Guest addressed students on the “Future prospects of Chemical Engineering and released Souvenir “Extract-2k18”.As a token of remembrance, two tree samplings were planted next to our department by the Dr. P. Sampath Kumar, Assistant Professor, Chemical Engineering Department, Sriram Engineering College and HOD along with the participants.
In total 5events were conducted in which 3 are technical events and 2 are non-technical events. Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Technical Quiz,Tik, Tik, Tik, Connections were conducted on the day of the symposium.
At the valedictory function is graced by the presence of HOD also distributed the prizes. Around 100 participants from different colleges participated actively and won the prizes.
