On 25th July 2019, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering inaugurated the Association of Electronics and Communication Engineers and organized a Guest Lecture on “Artificial Intelligence and its application”. Dr. M. Manikandan, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics Engineering, MIT Campus, Anna University, Chennai was the Chief Guest and the resource person. The lecture provided an insight about the role of Electronic Engineers in the area of Artificial Intelligence. The students were given awareness about the huge opportunities ahead in the area of Artificial Intelligence. It was emphasized that the students should equip themselves with the recent advancements in the field of electronics for their career opportunities.
